  Weapons Of Mass Destruction Tour

Machine Head, Arch Enemy, and God Forbid have been announced for the Weapons Of Mass Destruction Tour this April and May. No exact dates have been announced yet, but you can check out the official announcement here.

  New Nothingface projects launched

New projects following the break-up of Nothingface have been launched. Matt Holt and Bill Gaal have formed a new band called Perfect Enemy, and Tom Maxwell and Tommy Sickles have formed ColdWhiteChrist, along with Jerry Montano (Danzig). Great band, wish they didn't break up. Anxious to see what will happen with these side projects.

In Flames new video 'The Quiet Place' has been posted online and is available for download here. The video was directed by Patric Ullaeus and was shot at different locations in Gothenburg, Sweden. The song comes off In Flames' new album "Soundtrack to your escape", which is to be released in North America through Nuclear Blast records on April 6.

  Oliveri leaves Queens of the Stone Age

Nick Oliveri has unexpectedly left Queens of the Stone Age, and is to be replaced by bassist Van Conner of Screaming Trees. Drummer Joey Castillo (ex-Danzig) has also been replaced by another Screaming Trees member, Barret Martin.

Fear Factory have made available a teaser of their recently filmed video for 'Cyberwaste', the first single off their upcoming album 'Archetype'. You can view the clip right here.

Burton C. Bell also commented on the lyrics of the song: "It is about Internet forums and the people who go on them and talk a bunch of nonsense. It is an angry song and one of the more hard core songs we have written. This song is a statement and I'm sure everyone will get the picture."

  Judas Priest reveal details for box set

Judas Priest has officially revealed the details of the new box set titled "Metalogy". It is to be released through Sony Music/Legacy Records on May 4th. The set contains 4 discs, composed of various hits, B-sides, and rare songs. It will also include a full-color book with a timeline, discography, biographies and previously unreleased photos. The initial copies of "Metalogy" will include a bonus DVD of an out-of-print concert previously only available on VHS, from their "Screaming for Vengeance" tour.

  Anaal Nathrakh signed to Season of Mist

The British black metal band Anaal Nathrakh has signed a two-album agreement with Season of Mist records. They have already begun working on a new album, scheduled for a September 2004 release. These guys kicks ass, glad to see them getting the recognition they deserve. Definitely check them out.

  Incubus To Hit The UK

To coincide with the release of their 6th album, A Crow Left Of The Murder, Incubus have today announced a set of tour dates for the UK. The band will be hitting the British shores for the first time since 2002 on the following dates:

May 12th - Glasgow, SECC
May 13th - Birmingham, NIA
May 14th - Manchester, MEN Arena
May 15th - London, Wembley Arena

American tour dates are likely to follow quite shortly.

  New Daylight Dies vocalist

Nathan Ellis, formerly of Wehrwolfe, has been announced as the new vocalist for Daylight Dies. They have been without a vocalist for months now since the previous vocalist, Guthrie Iddings, left the band. Photos of the new line-up are available here.
